New Zealanders recognised at Marinas26

Kiwis were recognised for their professional achievements at the Marinas26 Conference in the Gold Coast in May, organised by the Marina Industries Association.
They were:
• Anna Barnes - Tauranga Bridge Marina - Certified Marina Operator (CMO)
• Keith Hogan - Bellingham - Certified Marina Professional (CMP)
• Kim Passmore - Bayswater Marina - Certified Marina Manager (CMM)
• Mark Thompson - Dredging NZ - Certified Marina Professional (CMP)
While the Certified Marina Operator and Certified Marina Manager qualifications are aimed at those in marina management, the Certified Marin Professional course is designed for non-operational managers working within the industry.
NZMOA congratulates Anna, Keith, Kim and Mark and encourages those in the industry to learn about and pursue the opportunities available to support their careers.
The association is also supporting the ongoing development of qualifications and training opportunities to ensure marina and boatyard professionals have access to recognised pathways that build skills, knowledge and industry capability.
