The Health of the New Zealand Marina Industry (HNZMI) survey was conducted for the first time in 2023 to provide scientific estimates of the performance and various contributions of the New Zealand marina industry to the general economy. The survey will be conducted every two years.

This study is a partnership between the New Zealand Marina Operators Association (NZMOA), the Australia’s Marina Industries Association (MIA), and Michigan State University (MSU, in the U.S.A.).
