A NZMOA partner story
Following a successful 2024, Butchart Marine Services recently delivered a 40t Roodberg hydraulic slipway trailer to Phuket Boat Lagoon in Thailand. This trailer is the sixth delivery to the island itself catering for the booming yachting industry there and the seventh into Thailand.
The business conducted training with the client on site after it was assembled and Executive Director, Wicky Sundram CMP commented:
"I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Butchart Marine Service and Roodberg in Holland for the successful delivery of the Roodberg 40-ton boat trailer to Phuket Boat Lagoon.
The trailer, which was shipped out from Holland in early January 2025, was successfully delivered to Phuket in April 2025. I also would like to thank you for the assembly, testing and training of the staff at Phuket Boat Lagoon. It was a true pleasure working and communicating with someone, with high regards to service and efficiency. I sincerely appreciate everything."
Further to this during the month of July one of the team from Vuda Marina in Fiji will be at the Roodberg factory to inspect their second slipway trailer purchase; this one being a 47t model.
Butchart Marine Services together with Roodberg recently won a tender to provide two 20t custom designed and built self-propelled slipway trailers for a Singaporean client. These trailers are in the early stages of production.
