We recommend preparing your responses in a Word document and copying and pasting them into this form when you are ready to submit your entry.

Aim for up to 200 words for each response. This is not strict but judges may not review very long entries.

2. Briefly introduce your facility to the judges: describe your facility including size, location, ownership, and any other factors relevant to the initiative you are putting forward

2. Describe the specific initiative that you are putting forward for this award. Ensure that judges can understand the context about how and why it was developed, any challenges you faced, and the time frame and budget (if relevant).

3. Explain how your initiative is contributing to or benefiting your operation, or if applicable, and, if relevant, to the wider community, environment, or industry

4. Explain your long-term plans and intentions in relation to this initiative? What are your next steps in the shorter term?

5. Is there anything else that you would like the judges to know about your facility or entry?

No entrant or entry is perfect. If there is an aspect of your operation you know needs improvement, it's important to acknowledge the work that is underway and the progress you have made so that judges can take this into account.

Please load a photo of your marina, and a photo of your team, to be used in awards publicity on the NZMOA website, social media, newsletter and in other places. If you don't have a professional photo, these can be shot on a phone camera. If you can't send this now, please provide it before finalists are announced to zoe@nzmoa.com.
